Litigation Attorney

A well-established Miami-based law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2–5 years of experience to join its growing practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated and complex litigation matters in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with significant hands-on experience and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases through all phases of litigation from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy recommendations
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances
• Participate in trial preparation, including witness preparation, exhibit organization, and motion practice
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
• Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on complex legal matters
• Maintain accurate case management and meet litigation deadlines

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of litigation experience required
• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience handling depositions, hearings, and discovery
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Trial preparation experience preferred
• Federal court experience is a plus
