ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including but not limited to the following:

 

  • Provide technical support to the HR department and other employees in relation to the HRIS system. This includes training on how to input and extract data from the system.

 

  • Manages and maintains HRIS, ensuring data integrity, system security, and customization of system features.

 

  • Analyzes HR processes and recommends solutions to improve operations including data integration.

 

  • Develops custom reports and analyses from HRIS data, including turnover trends, headcount, absenteeism rates.

 

  • Conducts regular audits of HRIS data to ensure accuracy and integrity.

 

  • Gathers data for third party audits on an as needed basis.

 

  • Develops and maintains HRIS documentation for reference, training and troubleshooting.

 

  • Supports compliance and reporting requirements of EEO-1, ACA and other regulatory processes.

 

  • Assists with implementation of HR system projects/implementations from top to bottom including working with external vendors.

 

  • Evaluates technology trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in HR processes.

 

  • Teaming up with your peers: teamwork matters in this role. Must be willing to work onsite and help out the team where needed.  This is the part where we say “other duties as assigned”.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree; and a minimum of 4 to 7 years related experience and/or training. Must understand the system development lifecycle process. Prior project management experience, including the ability to plan, initiate, monitor, and implement projects within deadlines. Knowledge of SQL, Power BI and Tableau strongly preferred.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and leaders. 

 

REASONING ABILITY

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills required. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

 

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must have intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must have excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.  High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.  Excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively multi-task is essential.  Strong communication (oral and written) skills required. Ability to work interdependent and as part of a team. Must always present a professional, positive image.
