After hire, additional compensation can be earned through promotional, performance-based increases up to $28.00 per hour. Minimum Qualification Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential, achieved by passing a national certification exam (e.g., CMA-AAMA, RMA-AMT, or CCMA-NHA) is strongly preferred Previous Medical Assistant experience in an Orthopaedic, surgical, or specialty clinic setting is preferred.Demonstrated proficiency in both Front Office (administrative) and Back Office (clinical) tasks.Proficiency in administering injections/vaccines and performing clinical procedures (e.g., phlebotomy, EKG) is essential.Working knowledge of medical terminology and clinical examination/treatment room procedures.Basic computer skills and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.Ability to comply with all regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA).Must be willing to travel to other office locations for coverage as needed.
