Position Summary
Performs various accounting functions including maintaining the computerized accounting system, financial statement analysis, pricing and bid preparation and analysis. Producing timely and accurate financial reports to management.
Essential Responsibilities
· Assist in the development and implementation of Project Cost Accounting
· Data collection, monitoring, reporting and analysis of projects costs
· Maintains Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Project Specific transactions
· Calculates and tracks Revenue and Accounts receivable
· Calculates and posts entries for the month end closing process
· Reconciles general ledger accounts and prepares analysis of Project Detail Reports
· Preparation of pricing proposals and bids
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- CPA
· Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Accounting or business with a focus on accounting or similar from four-year college or university and four years related experience or equivalent combination
· Must have knowledge of Spreadsheet and Accounting system software
Licensing/Certification Requirements
- CPA is required
