Position Description
This position conducts activities to ensure the quality of tasks conducted by other staff within the Data Management department. This is done to ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory agency requirements.
Essential Responsibilities
• Review departmental deliverables such as electronic Case Report Forms (eCFR), tabulation datasets and tabulation datasets metadata.
• Develop test scripts, validation plans and validation summary reports.
• Support database validation testing procedures (SDLC) by executing test scripts and documenting the results.
• Communicate the issues found during testing to Programming & DM team members.
• Participate in screen review meetings and provide appropriate feedback.
• Supports overall DM process to ensure the integrity and completeness of all stored data.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school and one year work experience with computer bases systems and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to process large amounts of data from cross-functional domains.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written step-by-step instructions to complete a task and thoroughly document completion of task.
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel applications.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and/or SAS programming is preferred.
