Job Title : Senior Test/NPI Engineer
Location : Irvine, CA (Onsite)

About the Role
This role focuses on developing and supporting test solutions for manufacturing and production processes. The Senior Test/NPI Engineer will design automated test systems, improve production efficiency, and ensure product quality in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop production test systems (hardware and software) for product validation
• Collaborate with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to define test requirements
• Implement automated test solutions to improve efficiency and scalability
• Develop and maintain test fixtures, scripts, and infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and support manufacturing test-related issues
• Perform Gauge R&R and IQ/OQ/PQ for test fixtures
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment in compliance with standards
• Document test procedures, specifications, and results
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
• 2 years of experience in test engineering or test development
• Experience in regulated environments (medical device preferred)
• Strong knowledge of verification, validation, and test methodologies
• Experience with test software such as LabVIEW and/or Python
• Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies)
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) environments
• Experience with automated test systems in production
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Salary
The hourly rate for this position is $35 - $43 per hour ( DOE )
