Installation & Testing:

As an FTTH technician, your responsibilities include:

• Installing Fiber-Optic Infrastructure: You’ll expertly install fiber-optic cables, connectors, and related equipment at customer sites or network nodes
• System Testing: Use specialized equipment to rigorously test installed systems, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with industry standards
  
  
  
  
  

Maintenance & Repair:

• Diagnosing and Repairing Faults: Identify signal degradation, cable cuts, or equipment failures in existing fiber networks. Swiftly address issues to maintain network reliability

Documentation:

• Accurate Records: Document installations, repairs, and maintenance activities thoroughly

Customer Service:

Your communication skills shine:

• Customer Interaction: Interface with customers, explaining network issues and providing estimated repair or installation timelines

• Adherence to Regulations: Follow safety regulations and industry standards meticulously to handle cables and network equipment safely

Education & Certification:

Your educational background includes:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
• Associate’s degree: Preferred, especially in telecommunications, information technology, or a related field
