How You'll Perform The Role
During the first three months, this position will require training during the day from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor and designated Leads, this position operates a machine that takes in paper, folds it, and glues it to produce bags of various sizes, shapes, and grades. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate: $ 19.00/hour
Shift Available: 2nd shift
Shift schedule: Monday-Friday
Shift differential: $.50 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift only

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machinery in accordance with safety protocols.
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform quality checks on products to maintain high standards.
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Complete assigned duties in compliance with company policies & procedures.
- Performs quality checks and completes related documentation.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Comply with established plant rules and procedures that promote compliance with customer service-related activities.
- Following run-order specifications for each product.
- Following pre-requisite programs in compliance with SQF Code, Manufacture of Food Packaging, and food safety requirements.
- Following all Good Manufacturing Practices in compliance with all Food Safety Requirements.
- Actively engage in value-added activities that enhance our products and processes.
- Understand and follow all JSAs and safety procedures/policies.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- One year of experience in a manufacturing or mechanical position.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
- Work overtime as required.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
- The commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop.
- Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.

Salary : $19 - $50
