Title: Scientist/Senior Scientist, Proteomics
Major Responsibilities:
- Conduct end-to-end sample processing for proteomics & metabolomics—from extraction and digestion to LC-MS/MS analysis—following strict SOPs.
- Operate mass spectrometry systems using DIA or DDA methods to support diverse research needs.
- Analyze and report experimental data weekly/monthly, maintaining accurate documentation for team review.
- Communicate progress and issues proactively to the team leader, conduct troubleshooting to keep projects on track.
- Design project plans, evaluate feasibility, conduct experiments, and analyze results when required.
- Present QC results professionally and respond to data-related inquiries clearly and efficiently.
- Perform daily operation, maintenance, and monitoring of LC-MS and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Support lab management through inventory tracking, reagent procurement, and ensuring continuous supply of materials.
- Uphold 5S principles to maintain an organized, clean, and safe lab environment.
- Other tasks arranged by line manager.
Job Requirements:
- Master degree and above in Analytical Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Cancer Biology, or a related discipline, with a strong foundation in biological sciences.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience operating LC-MS systems, preferably with Thermo Fisher Orbitrap Astral, Orbitrap Exploris or Q Exactive HF-X series instruments.
- Proficient in developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex LC-MS workflows, from sample preparation to data analysis.
- Demonstrated experience with DIA or DDA workflows, including method development and data interpretation.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed, with strong teamwork and communication skills
- Weekend/ Off hour shifts are acceptable
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
