Kleinschmidt has a full-time opening for a Senior Scientist to support ecological assessments and water management projects in Portland, Oregon. California will also be considered. Salary: $115,000 - $130,000/year (based on experience)
Who You Are
An experienced Aquatic Scientist with a MS or PhD in Aquatic Ecology, Hydrology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Experienced: 10 years of field experience in streamflow measurement and habitat surveys. Experience with statistical analysis and ecological modeling (R, Python preferred). Familiarity with environmental flow standards and water management regulations.
Knowledgeable: Knowledge of water rights frameworks and instream flow policy. Strong knowledge of streamflow dynamics and aquatic species-habitat relationships. Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
