What You'll Do:

• Operational Leadership: Streamline daily laboratory operations to ensure peak efficiency and accuracy.
• Team Management: Inspire, manage, and optimize staffing for a team of over 30 employees to meet peak demands and ensure high performance.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control measures that set industry standards and continuously improve work processes.
• Strategic Initiatives: Actively participate in strategic planning and spearhead special projects to guide the future of our laboratory.
• Client Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
• Financial Accountability: Manage resources efficiently and oversee profit/loss accountability for the operation.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal person is a proactive and strategic leader with a strong background in Chemistry, Biology, or Engineering.

You should have:

• 8 years of professional experience in laboratory operations or TIC (/Third-party testing)
• High throughput laboratory testing experience in food, feed, agriculture, water or environmental
• 5 years in a leadership position, with experience managing a team of over 30 employees.
• Proven profit/loss accountability of $3M or an equivalent size operation.
• Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to solve complex problems.
