Position Summary
Oversees monitors and coordinates Production Team Members activities and ensure best practices are being followed throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Motivates and ensures his/her team is meeting departmental goals and objectives, including maintaining high quality, safety, and productivity standards.
- Build strong relationships with other department leaders and associates. Interact with other supervisors to establish maximum utilization of resources and to improve efficiencies.
- Implement processes that improve key performance indicators (i.e., quality, safety, cycle time).
- Provide feedback to Plant Supervisor and Business Manager on ways to increase the efficiencies and effectiveness of the production process.
- Arranges and coordinates safety meetings to ensure safety standards are understood and met.
- Operate machinery when needed
- High School Diploma required.
- Previous experience leading others
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Ability to lift moderately heavy objects up to 30 pounds.
- Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
- Demonstrated customer service, people, leadership, and organization skills with track record of achieving positive business results.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
