Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive 3rd Shift Maintenance Lead to oversee and coordinate maintenance operations during overnight hours. This leadership role is vital in ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of manufacturing facilities. Prior experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, electrical systems, and facilities management is highly desirable. Duties
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team during the 3rd shift, ensuring timely completion of scheduled and emergency repairs
- Oversee preventative maintenance programs utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage equipment, utilizing schematics and testing tools such as ohmmeters
- Maintain and repair mechanical systems, HVAC units, and industrial machinery to ensure optimal operation
- Manage projects related to equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and safety enhancements through effective project management practices
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures related to electrical work (including high voltage) and general facilities management
- Document maintenance activities accurately within CMMS and generate reports for management review
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime while maintaining safety standards
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on technical procedures, safety protocols, and best practices in industrial maintenance
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead a team effectively during overnight shifts
- Extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance including electrical (high voltage and low voltage), mechanical systems, HVAC, and schematics interpretation
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, project management, and facilities management
- Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical expertise; familiarity with troubleshooting using ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools
- Ability to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately
- Experience working with high voltage systems safely in an industrial environment
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective team coordination and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality assurance

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
