Order Puller | Second Shift

2nd shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM or until finish, Monday- Friday

Position Summary 

• The Order Puller will be responsible for accurately pulling customer orders by using RF Scanner.  

• The puller needs to verify product and count accuracy, receive, and label per procedures, and deliver finished load to designated area.  

• The puller will need the ability to accurately measure in linear feet and properly build a pallet. 

Essential Responsibilities 

• Scan's location and pulls product using RF Scanner to fulfill customer orders in a safe and effective manner.  

• Ensures all units are organized, leveled, and tightly built for transport. 

• Communicates any discrepancies, product issues or safety issues with Supervisor.Places completed and labelled order into designated area once order is fulfilled. 

• Maintains a clean work area, sweeping, rebinding loose bundles, etc. 

• Successfully passes all Novo tugger training and operates a tugger following all safety requirements established within Novo. 

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Effectively performs all essential functions, including physical requirements.
• Use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and company approved tools while remaining aware of hazards. and maintaining a safe work environment Ability to move awkward product lengths and weights.
• Basic math, interpersonal/team, and reasoning skills. 
• Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.
• Flexibility in scheduling – able to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience driving industrial powered equipment.
• High School Diploma and GED

• Able to withstand exposure to seasonal weather elements and wood dust. 
• 100%: Stand, handle or feel, squeeze or grasp.
• 80%: Reaching with hands and arms, depth perception.
• 50%: Walk, repetitive motion, operate moving equipment.
• 10%: Working bent at waist, climbing, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, bending or twisting.
• Lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Lift, push or pull 75-100 lbs. with assistance.
