Netcool Developer with AIOps (IBM Cloud Pak)

We are seeking a skilled Netcool Developer with AIOps (IBM Cloud Pak) expertise to modernize and enhance IT operations by integrating traditional IBM Netcool Operations Insight (NOI) systems with IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps. The ideal candidate will focus on automation, event correlation, and AI-driven incident management in a hybrid cloud environment.

• Integrate Netcool Omnibus and Netcool Impact with IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps.
• Migrate existing event filters, rules, and automation policies to AIOps platforms.
• Ensure seamless transition from traditional event management to AI-driven operations.

• Configure bidirectional synchronization of event data between Netcool and AIOps.
• Define data mapping and transformation rules (e.g., JSONATA).
• Ensure consistent alert processing and event correlation across platforms.

• Develop and implement automation policies and runbooks using:
• Netcool Impact
• Python / Bash scripting
• Automate incident detection, diagnosis, and remediation workflows.

• Support AI model training by feeding high-quality operational data.
• Enable capabilities such as:
• Event grouping and noise reduction
• Log anomaly detection
• Metric anomaly detection
• Change risk analysis

• Utilize AIOps tools to create application-centric topology views.
• Map infrastructure dependencies and analyze incident impact.

• Integrate with third-party tools such as:
• Splunk
• ServiceNow
• Slack
• Work with DevOps, SRE, and infrastructure teams for end-to-end platform integration.

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues in Netcool and AIOps environments.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability in hybrid cloud setups.

• Strong expertise in IBM Netcool Suite, including:
• Netcool Omnibus
• Netcool Impact
• Probes, Gateways, Web GUI
• Hands-on experience with IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps
• Strong knowledge of event management and IT operations automation
• Experience with scripting (Python, Bash)
• Knowledge of data transformation tools (JSONATA or similar)
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts in AIOps platforms
• Experience integrating with tools like Splunk, ServiceNow, Slack
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
