Key Responsibilities
- Administer and configure Jira Cloud (Software & Service Management) and Confluence Cloud environments across multiple business lines.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, and Software Engineers to implement Jira structures aligned with SAFe and enterprise Agile standards.
- Design and maintain custom workflows, screens, schemes, fields, filters, and dashboards for effective portfolio and team-level tracking.
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions via Atlassian Access and SSO integrations with Amex identity platforms.
- Implement and maintain automation rules and integrations (e.g., Slack, GitHub, ServiceNow).
- Ensure governance and compliance with Amex security and audit standards.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud users.
- Develop documentation, training materials, and best practices for consistent usage across business units.
- Participate in Atlassian Cloud upgrades, testing, and change management processes in coordination with Enterprise Technology teams.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience as a Jira Administrator (including Jira Cloud) in a large enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe frameworks.
- Proficient in JQL, workflow automation, and project configuration.
- Hands-on experience with Atlassian Cloud administration, including user management, permission schemes, and global settings.
- Experience managing large-scale user bases (5,000 users preferred).
- Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in governed or regulated environments (e.g., financial services, banking, fintech).
Preferred Qualifications
- Atlassian certifications such as ACP-120 (Jira Administration for Cloud) or ACP-620 (Managing Jira Projects in Cloud).
- Familiarity with ScriptRunner, Automation for Jira, and Jira Service Management.
- Experience integrating Jira Cloud with analytics/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of Atlassian REST APIs or scripting (Python, Groovy, JavaScript).
- Exposure to Change Management, IIQ, and enterprise security compliance practices.
