Position OverviewWe are looking for a highly qualified and passionate SAT English Tutor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate has a strong command of SAT Reading, Writing, and grammar concepts, as well as the ability to teach effective test-taking strategies. This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling and the potential for long-term collaboration based on performance and student demand.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-on-one or small-group instruction in SAT Reading & WritingTeach students core concepts, including:Reading comprehensionRhetoric and text analysisSAT grammar rules and conventionsSentence structure, transitions, and logical flowDevelop personalized learning plans based on student needsAssign and review practice tests, providing detailed feedbackTrack student progress and adjust instruction accordinglyMaintain high standards of professionalism and student engagementQualificationsBachelors degree required (English, Linguistics, Education, or related field preferred)Prior experience teaching SAT English or test prep strongly preferredStrong understanding of SAT Reading and Writing content and scoringAbility to explain complex concepts clearly and patientlyFamiliarity with current SAT question formats and trendsExperience working with middle or high school studentsPreferred Qualifications (Optional to include)Masters degree in Education, English, or related disciplinePrior experience in private tutoring, test prep centers, or similar academic settingsAbility to teach both online and in-person
