A leading steel fabrication manufacturer is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across a dynamic production environment. This is a hands‑on, plant‑based leadership role with the authority to shape culture, elevate standards, and drive operational excellence.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve EHS programs across the facility
• Lead behaviour‑based safety initiatives and promote a strong safety‑first culture
• Conduct facility audits, track corrective actions, and ensure timely closure
• Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures
• Deliver engaging safety training for employees and contractors
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Prepare and manage required safety documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping
• Serve as the primary point of contact for OSHA visits, insurance inspections, and regulatory agencies

✅ Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety & Health, or related field (Equivalent practical experience will also be considered)
• Minimum 5 years of EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and relevant state/local regulations
• Proven success conducting audits, leading investigations, and driving CAPA initiatives
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or management systems
• Preferred certifications: ASP, CSP, OSHA 500, OSHA 30‑Hour, First Aid/CPR/AED
