Summary of Role
NovaSource Power Services, a global leader in solar energy solutions, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to join our team for Summer 2026. This internship provides hands-on experience in distribution and logistics, with a focus on supporting the implementation of a hub-and-spoke distribution strategy for spare parts and aiding in the rollout of a digital supply chain platform. The successful candidate will work closely with our supply chain and operations teams in Chandler, AZ, and Avondale, AZ, to optimize material flow, enhance end-to-end visibility, and drive operational excellence in the renewable energy sector.
This internship will run for 10 weeks (July -September)
Key Responsibilities
- Review and update inventory master data
- Contact key data owners to verify/confirm data corrections
- Assist with inventory audits and financial reconciliations
- Collaborate with various key stakeholders
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the master data including but no limited to data analysis or performance enhancement solutions
Skills & Qualifications:
- Data analytics
- IT platforms experience or ability to work in ServiceMax, MSDynamics Business Center, Power BI, ZoHo, MS work products
- Familiarity with AI data analysis tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communication tools
- Ability to work in our Chandler AZ and Houston office
- Ability to travel and visit field site locations in the US, if necessary
- Work with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and field service, to streamline communication and integrate digital workflows.
- Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times, inventory turnover, and cost efficiency, leveraging digital tools for real-time insights.
- Provide administrative and analytical support for supply chain projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong interest in distribution, logistics, and the renewable energy sector, particularly solar energy.
- Basic understanding of supply chain concepts, including inventory management, transportation, and warehousing.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, data visualization); familiarity with supply chain software or digital platforms is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
