Store Manager

Novapetal Flower Lab is a floral design studio in Arcadia, recognized as one of America's Favorite Mom & Pop Shops by Yelp and Entrepreneur. Since 2021 we've grown from Phoenix to a second studio in New York City, and we're looking for a strong leader to run our Phoenix studio day to day. We're growing, and we want people who grow with us.

What you'll do

• Manage our team of florists: schedules, priorities, quality and standards
• Take orders by phone and help walk-in clients choose the perfect flowers
• Coordinate our drivers and plan daily delivery routes
• Make every client feel taken care of: reply to calls, emails and inquiries quickly and warmly, from the first call to the final delivery
• Sell events and weddings: call the client, build quotes with our designers, follow up until they book
• Reach out to venues, planners and local businesses to bring in new corporate and event clients
• Open and close the studio, check every order before it leaves, and keep purchasing within budget
• Send the owners a short daily update and track the team's results

Who you are

• 2 years leading a team in retail, hospitality or events
• You love working with clients, and talking to people is easy for you
• You find solutions instead of waiting for instructions
• You're not afraid to pick up the phone and pitch
• Event or floral industry experience is a big plus

Schedule and pay

• Full-time, 40 hours a week, including Saturdays
• $23–27 per hour, based on experience
• Bonus on event sales
