Job Summary
Baltimore County is seeking a Senior GIS Programmer / Systems Analyst to support application development, maintenance, and GIS systems for the Office of Information Technology’s GIS Program.
The consultant will be responsible for developing and maintaining ArcGIS Server applications, performing GIS application upgrades, supporting the ArcGIS Server environment, and working with ArcGIS Web AppBuilder and CityWorks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and upgrade GIS applications.
- Develop and maintain ArcGIS Server web applications.
- Support configuration activities in CityWorks.
- Support GIS web services used by CityWorks.
- Repair and upgrade existing Facilities and Utility toolsets.
- Work with Visual C#, Visual Studio, and ArcObjects SDK.
- Analyze and resolve application and production issues.
- Support GIS application upgrades and ongoing system maintenance.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to troubleshoot GIS-related issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in systems analysis, change management analysis, project management, program analysis, or a related field.
- Recent experience working with a government entity.
- Experience supporting public-sector GIS environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred.
