Network Engineer II – Telecom Administrator
Location: Wisconsin (remote)
Residency Requirement: Must be a current Wisconsin resident.
We are seeking a Network Engineer II / Telecom Administrator to support telecommunications, network infrastructure, collaboration tools, and end-user technology services for a state agency. The role will provide technical and business analysis of telecom services, troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues, coordinate service provisioning and upgrades, and work closely with IT leadership, business teams, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and troubleshoot telecommunications, network/server hardware, software, and collaboration solutions.
- Analyze telecom services and recommend technical improvements and solutions.
- Support infrastructure provisioning, upgrades, changes, and technology lifecycle activities.
- Serve as a technical liaison between business users, IT teams, leadership, and vendors.
- Support telecom and collaboration technologies for Call Center operations.
- Follow ITIL-based Incident, Problem, and Request Management processes.
- Analyze service tickets and identify opportunities for proactive service improvements.
- Develop user documentation, how-to guides, training materials, and service portal content.
Important: Candidates must currently reside in Wisconsin. This is a 100% remote position, but relocation/out-of-state candidates are not being considered.
