Reports to: Enclosed HR Manager
Position Summary: The HR Coordinator supports daily HR operations for the manufacturing facility, ensuring smooth staffing processes, accurate employee data management, strong employee relations, and compliance with federal, state, and company policies. This role partners closely with plant leadership to uphold manufacturing standards in safety, attendance, training, and workforce readiness, while providing responsive support to employees across all HR functions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition Support — Screens applicants, coordinates interviews, assists with candidate selection, and manages background check requests.
- Bilingual Employee Support — Provides English/Spanish translation during interviews, orientations, investigations, and employee meetings to ensure clarity and accessibility.
- Onboarding & Orientation — Facilitates new‑hire orientation in English and Spanish; sets up ADP onboarding and guides candidates through the process.
- Employee Relations — Serves as an employee advocate, builds strong relationships with plant personnel, and supports the resolution of workplace concerns.
- Safety & Incident Management — Tracks employee injuries and assists with incident management, as well as participates in post-incident investigations reviews.
- Attendance & Workforce Tracking — Run attendance reports, support supervisors with attendance-related documentation.
- HR Compliance — Maintains OSHA documentation, supports LOA/FMLA processing, and ensures compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
- Benefits Administration — Assists employees with benefit questions, claim issues, and enrollment changes; supports annual open enrollment.
- Payroll Coordination — Reviews timecards for accuracy and functions as the primary contact for any payroll-related questions for the employees.
- HR Documentation — Processes status changes, terminations, and maintains confidential employee files.
- General HR Support — Provides administrative support to the Enclosed HR Manager and assists with additional HR projects as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish required (written and verbal).
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of HR experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Willing to complete a pre‑employment background check.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily operates in a fast-paced, office environment within a manufacturing organization.
- Some time will be spent in production supporting employees.
- Routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.
- Occasional travel to various worksites and meetings, mostly local.
- Responsibilities require a willingness to work outside of the typical office schedule.
- Will meet with employees and provide tours, as necessary, on the production floors of all plants.
