Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform advanced preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, and utilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Support equipment setups, changeovers, and adjustments as needed to meet production schedules.
- Record maintenance activity accurately in the CMMS system.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Assist operators with machine start-ups and performance checks.
- Keep tools, parts, and supplies organized for efficient repairs.
- Follow OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company safety standards.
- Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, and arc flash safety programs.
- Participate in root-cause analysis and develop long-term solutions.
- Suggest improvements that boost reliability and reduce waste.
- Support cost-saving and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or Mechanical preferred.
- Experience: 2 years of multi-craft maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Familiarity with PLCs and automation systems is a plus.
- CMMS experience preferred.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (heat, noise, PPE required).
- Stamina for extended periods of physical activity and concentration.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying shift lengths (8–12 hours) and occasional weekends.
