Machine Assembler Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Experience with mechanical or electro-mechanical systems is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and components
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues
- Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking
- Basic Math: Ability to perform measurements and calculations (fractions, decimals, tolerances)
- Communication: Ability to clearly communicate issues, updates, and handoffs across shifts
- Flexibility & Adaptability: Ability to work varying shifts (8–12 hours, occasional weekends)
- Time Management: Ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination and precision in assembly tasks
- Constant standing, walking, and repetitive motions
- Frequent lifting/carrying of 25–50 lbs (occasionally up to 75 lbs)
