As an Electrical Assembler, you will build electrical control panels and electro-mechanical systems from the ground up using schematics, layouts, and work instructions. This hands-on role is essential to delivering high-quality equipment on time. This position involves working with tools, solving problems and seeing a finished product come together, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

- Assemble electrical control panels from schematics, layouts, and bill of materials.
- Install components such as PLC’s, relays, breakers, power supplies and terminals.
- Mount and install DIN rail, wire duct, and cable management systems.
- Perform point-to-point wiring for control systems and 3-phase power distribution.
- Wire field I/O and connect panels to machine components.
- Route, secure, terminate and label wiring to meet standards and best practices.
- Conduct panel checkout (continuity testing and basic functional verification).
- Inspect assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with drawings.
- Identify and report discrepancies or design issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Assist with installation, troubleshooting, and rework when needed.
- Experience with industrial or commercial electrical wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
- Familiarity with control components (PLC’s, relays, contactors, breakers, terminals).
- Proficiency with tools like multimeters and continuity testers.
- Knowledge of wire routing, termination, and labeling best practices.
- Understanding of NFPA 70 (NEC) as it applies to control panels.
- Experience building panels to UL 508A standards.
- Familiarity with NFPA 79 and industrial automation systems.
- Experience with low-voltage control wiring and 3-phase power distribution.
- Experience with cable management systems (wire duct, cable tray, harnessing)
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
