You'll recruit for a diverse range of roles—from Sales and Marketing to Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and executive leadership—while mentoring recruiters and helping shape recruiting best practices across the organization. This hybrid role is based near our Wakefield, Massachusetts headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Strategic Recruiting
- Own the full lifecycle recruiting process from intake meeting through offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Partner directly with Presidents, General Managers, and functional leaders to understand hiring needs and develop customized recruiting strategies.
- Conduct engaging kick-off meetings that establish clear hiring objectives, timelines, and candidate profiles.
- Build high-quality candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other creative sourcing channels.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.
- Manage staffing services partners, including evaluating performance, onboarding vendors, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, closing, and communications.
Influence Hiring Decisions:
- Screen, evaluate, and present highly qualified candidates with thoughtful recommendations to hiring managers.
- Coach hiring managers throughout the interview process and provide market intelligence on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive hiring practices.
- Develop compelling job descriptions that accurately reflect business needs while attracting top talent.
- Help leaders make informed hiring decisions by presenting strong candidate assessments and market insights.
Develop World-Class Recruiting Operations:
- Maintain accurate recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Coordinate interviews, reference checks, offer preparation, employment documentation, and onboarding activities.
- Continuously improve recruiting processes, reporting, and hiring workflows to increase efficiency and hiring success.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and recruiting best practices.
Lead and Mentor:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to a small recruiting team.
- Review candidate submissions, coach sourcing strategies, and support recruiters through difficult searches and offer negotiations.
- Drive recruiting metrics, pipeline reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance recruiting culture focused on delivering outstanding hiring results.
Become an Industry Expert:
- Develop deep knowledge of the test, measurement, sensing, scientific instrumentation, and industrial technology markets. You'll become a strategic talent advisor who understands both the technologies and the people who build, sell, and support them.
Experience and Skills:
- 7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a track record of successfully filling technical and business positions.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching recruiters is highly preferred.
- Global recruiting experience, particularly across Canada and Europe, is strongly preferred.
- Expert-level proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and modern sourcing techniques.
- Experience recruiting across multiple functions including Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Corporate roles.
- Strong understanding of employment practices including EEO, I-9, confidentiality, documentation, and recruiting compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills with candidates, hiring managers, and senior leadership.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage recruiting metrics to improve hiring outcomes.
