Accounting Manager
Nova is a premium wood product importer with corporate offices in Forest Grove, OR. Warehouse locations are throughout the US with primary warehouses in Forest Grove, OR and Memphis, TN. We specialize in providing trailer decking, exterior decking, siding, proprietary fastening systems and wood finishing products to both wholesale (direct sales) and retail customers (via e-commerce) throughout North America. Duties included but not limited to:
- Financial Statement Close & Audit Management
- Account reconciliations and adjusting entries
- Sales Tax reconciliation and filings. Setups as needed.
- Cash forecasting, management and planning
- Bank audits and Year End audit support
- Accounts Receivable supervision (1) & oversight
-Collections, Reconciliations, Customer Setups
-Manage reporting to Third Party AR Insurance
-Oversee invoicing and payment applications
- Accounts Payable management
-Invoice & Payment Processing
-Vendor Setups
-1099 reporting
- Payroll and Benefits management
-Employee setups & pay-period processing
-Benefits administration
Skills required:
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Competency in Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Attention to details in a fast paced and growing environment
- Good at Multi-tasking and prioritizing work loads
- Good communicator (written and verbal)
- Outgoing personality with a Pro-Active disposition
- Speak English fluently
- Reliable, Friendly and Conscientious
- Education - Bachelors degree in finance or accounting
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics-Great Plains is an advantage
- Experience in the lumber industry is a major advantage
Job Type: Hybrid, Full-time. Primarily in Forest Grove, Oregon; but with some remote work available as conditions make sense.
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
