Job Description
Sales Support & Customer Service
We are a leading international wood products company with our corporate headquarters in Forest Grove, OR. We specialize in exterior decking, siding, industrial products, and wood finishes. Check out our websites at novausawood.com and trailerdecking.com. This is a full-time position Monday-Friday. Ideal hours are from 7:30am-4:30pm with an hour lunch. This position will require in person training; when training is complete position can move to a hybrid schedule (2-3 days per week required in the office).
Job Description:
Order & Data Entry
- Customer Entry
- Sales Order Entry
- LTL & Truckload Freight Booking
- Applying Inventory to Orders, Inventory Management
- Processing Credit/Debit Card
- Sending Warehouse Documents
- Use our ERP to manage orders at our warehouses
- Customer communications including shipping, payments, order status, etc.
Customer Service
- ExoShield Apitong Oil, Fasteners, Other Accessories – Basic Inquiries & Order Processing
- Fielding Customer Inquiries
- Inbound sales calls when salesperson is out of town or traveling.
Manage Third Party E-Commerce Sites
- Update availability
- Process orders
- Update tracking info for orders once shipped
- Submit invoices
Opportunity to grow into a junior inside sales role
Perform any other duties, responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
Skills Required:
- Computer competency in Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams
- Attention to detail
- Fast paced and organized
- Professional communication skills with both customers and employees
- Confident speaking on the phone

- Reliable
- Friendly
- Experience with lumber, building materials industry helpful
- Experience with call centers is preferred
- Experience in data entry or customer service is preferred

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
