Job Posting: Driver/ Laborer
Location: Gwinnett County, GA
About Us: Nova Underground LLC is a growing underground utility contractor specializing in telecommunications infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Transport items/ products to and from destinations
- Arrive at destinations on schedule
- Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use
- Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed
- Keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date
- Perform manual labor including trenching, backfilling, hand digging, and site cleanup.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment.
- Assist crew members and operators with cable pulling, conduit placement, and other field operations.
- Operate hand tools and basic equipment safely.
- Follow safety protocols and report hazards immediately.
- Complete tasks as assigned by crew leaders or site supervisors in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience and knowledge of underground utility construction
- Ability to operate all equipment safely and productively
- Minimum 1 year experience in a construction laboring or physically laboring position.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
