Weekend In Home Caregiver 8am-10am (Weekly Pay)

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Weekend In-Home Caregivers to provide quality care to clients in their homes from 8am to 10am. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and overall condition, reporting any concerns promptly
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
• Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA guidelines
• Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a safe and caring environment
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer aids to assist with mobility and transfers
• Follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals to ensure consistent, personalized care
• Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, adhering to privacy standards like HIPAA
• Support clients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's through specialized memory care techniques

Skills

• Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, or long-term care preferred
• Knowledge of patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and administering medication
• Certification in CPR and First Aid required or willing to obtain prior to employment
• Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when necessary for patient transfers or mobility assistance
• Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor when working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
• Ability to follow detailed care plans while respecting patient confidentiality under HIPAA regulations
• Experience with hospice care, nursing home environments, or home health services is advantageous
