Quality Control Technician (Roadway Testing)

NOVA Engineering is hiring a Transportation Engineering Technician in the Atlanta, GA metro area specializing in transportation and roadway projects. This role is critical to ensuring quality and compliance on transportation projects across Georgia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform field and laboratory tests on soils, concrete, asphalt, and pavement materials.
• Document and report test results accurately and promptly.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure calibration standards are met.
• Communicate findings to project managers and clients as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and GDOT standards during all testing activities.

Preferred Certifications:

• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Level I
• GDOT Roadway Testing Technician (RTT)
• GDOT Quality Control Technician (QCT)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
