What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control, UL (47725) position at Motion & Control Enterprises?
We are seeking a highly organized and quality-focused Quality Control. This position will be responsible for confirming that panels built in the UL508A Panel shop are built correctly.
Essential Duties
- Perform point-to-point testing to ensure proper connectivity and functionality.
- Conduct pull testing to verify wire security and compliance with quality standards.
- Verify assemblies against prints and wiring diagrams to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect wire bending space to confirm it meets required specifications.
- Perform power-on testing to validate operational performance.
- Evaluate wire routing for organization, safety, and compliance.
- Check panels for adherence to UL requirements and applicable standards.
- Verify labels and wire numbers for correctness and consistency.
- Conduct thorough visual inspections to identify defects or irregularities.
- Take photographs of completed panels and upload them to the server for documentation and recordkeeping.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Experience testing and build panels in a UL panel shop is a must. 2 years minimum
- Must be able to use a DMM / Potentiometer
- Must be able to use a computer, labeling software, MS Excel, Outlook, Etc.
- Must be able to follow standard testing procedures.
- Must be able to read prints and diagrams
