Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
- Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Dentimax
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including health insurance knowledge and Medicare processes
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist in a clinical or dental office setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology, dental terminology, and health insurance procedures including verification and billing
- Ability to manage productive scheduling and coordinate dental plans effectively
- Present treatment plans and explain and collect copays
- Demonstrate understanding of HIPAA regulations, clinical confidentiality policies.
