Overview:
We are seeking a personable, organized and dependable Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, communicates professionally, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing and exceptional experience for every patient.
Dental or medical office experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong customer-service and administrative experience who are eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
- Answer incoming phone calls, assist patients, and direct calls appropriately
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Maintain an organized and efficient practice schedule
- Collect patient payments and assist with routine billing-related questions
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient information
- Communicate with patients regarding appointments, office policies, and follow-up
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized reception area
- Learn and effectively use dental practice management software and computer systems
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, friendly, and positive demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information
- Basic proficiency with computers and common office applications
- Reliable attendance and transportation to our Cranberry Township office
