This role is critical in preparing precise technical drawings and documentation that support project planning and execution. If you have a strong eye for detail, a logical approach to design, and a passion for delivering high-quality work, we want to hear from you!What You’ll DoInterpret and convert project documentation, including architectural plans, structural drawings, and specifications, into clear and accurate construction drawings.Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for building renovations, layouts, and assemblies using CAD software.Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and engineers to ensure drawings align with project scope and requirements.Revise drawings based on feedback or design changes throughout the project lifecycle.Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with building codes and company guidelines.Organize and archive drawing files and documentation for current and past projects.Assist with developing permit sets and construction document packages.Participate in coordination meetings to resolve design or constructability issues.What You Bring3 years of drafting experience in construction (experience in building renovations preferred).Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit, SketchUp, or other BIM software experience is a plus).Strong knowledge of construction methods, terminology, and technical standards.High attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools is a plus.What We OfferFull-time position with competitive pay ($65,000 - $70,000 per year).A fast-paced and collaborative work environment.Growth opportunities and career development within an expanding company.A company culture that values innovation, professionalism, and teamwork.Join Nova Construction Services and be part of a team that’s shaping NYC’s skyline—one project at a time.For more information about who we are and what we do, visit us at www.novaconstructionservices.com.Ready to be part of something extraordinary?
