We’re Seeking a Visionary Summer Camp Site Director
Are you ready to lead a campsite to success? We're in search of a passionate Site Director who can inspire and support our educators, ensuring they have the happiest and most rewarding experience at our summer camp. In this role, you will show love and care to our campers, deliver the highest level of customer support to parents, and guide our staff to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
Coach and Train Counselors: Mentor and develop our teaching staff, ensuring they grasp the purpose behind each activity and properly implement protocols to create a fun, safe camp environment.
Nurture Campers and Families: Build strong, supportive relationships with NORY campers and their families to enhance the overall camp experience.
Operations Management: Efficiently oversee and manage all physical aspects of camp operations, including materials, facilities, and daily schedules.
Administrative Oversight: Maintain accurate, up-to-date administrative records for all aspects of the camp to ensure smooth daily operations and compliance.
Step-In Teaching: Enthusiastically lead camp activities or classes to maintain a high-quality experience for campers when coverage is needed.
Qualifications
Team Management: Proven experience managing and coaching a team of 4 teachers while fostering a positive, collaborative team environment.
Family Engagement: A proven track record of building strong, professional relationships with families in a camp or educational setting.
Teaching Background: 5 years of experience teaching children ages 3–12 in any subject or discipline (experience with a STEM-focused curriculum is preferred).
Growth Mindset: A distinct willingness to learn, adapt, and quickly adopt new technologies and operational skills.

Compensation and Benefits
Schedule: Monday – Friday, starting at 7:30 AM.
Note: Daily duration depends on campsite size. Smaller sites dismiss at 4:30 PM, while larger sites dismiss at 5:30 PM (with increased weekly compensation factored in).
Weekly Rate: $1,301.50 – $1,634.75/week
Starting base pay is $1,301.50/week, with the potential to earn up to $1,634.75/week inclusive of a $122 weekly performance bonus.
Base pay is dependent on experience. Higher pay tiers are available for candidates with 8 years of experience who successfully complete NORY evaluation requirements.

Salary : $1,302 - $1,635
