What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Math Teacher position at Norwood High School?

Norwood Public Schools is seeking a dynamic candidate with effective instructional delivery techniques to serve as our High School Math teacher.  The teacher will instruct students in order to develop competence and an understanding of fundamental math skills.  This position requires the teacher to instruct using the Colorado State Standards as a foundation for what we want students to know and be able to do.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Colorado State Teacher License for Teaching Positions
  • Must meet Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) requirements as defined by Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)
  • Must pass a general background check (BCI/FBI)
