What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employee Child Care Lead Teacher- Non-certified position at Norwood Elementary School?
Anderson County Schools Preschool is seeking a non-certified lead teacher for our Employee Child Care program at our Norwood Elementary School location. Employee Child Care lead teachers plan, instruct and care for children ages 6 weeks-3 years, while also guiding teacher assistants, to promote developmentally appropriate social interactions and physical and cognitive growth. Classrooms are set up with one lead teacher and four assistants, caring for a maximum of 16 infants and/or toddlers.
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age. Associate's degree is Early Childhood Education is required, and experience working with small children is preferred.
This position is 200 days per year. The hours are 6:45 AM-3:15 PM, M-F.
ECC employees are paid on the Anderson County Schools' Educational Assistants pay scale with applicable supplements.
