What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infection Control and Wound RN position at Norwichtown Rehabilitation and Care Center?
Norwichtown Rehab is looking for an Infection Control and Wound nurse to join our dedicated team of nurses.
The role of the ICN/WCN is assist the IDT in wound care and prevention, infection control and prevention.
This role is independent of general staff education, but does include education in relation to wound care, indwelling lines, and infection control.
We are looking for a candidate that works well independently as well as with a team.
The WCN is responsible for rounding weekly with the Wound MD weekly, assesses new wounds and ensures treatment orders are in place.
This is a Registered Nurse position.
The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn and teach, will collaborate with the IDT to ensure best practice and care standards are met.
Experience Preferred, But Willing To Train a Motivated Candidate.
Salary based on experience.
Mon-Fri w/ paid on call.
401K w/ employer match.
