Norwescap is seeking a VITA Coordinator I responsible for cultivating and maintaining new and existing relationships with VITA Volunteers and VITA Site Staff. The Vita Coordinator is responsible for assisting in developing and implementing strategies to maximize community participation in VITA.
Essential Job Duties
May be required to go to VITA sites within reasonable distance, as needed. This position requires up to 50% travel.

Essential Job Duties
- Maintain regular communication with the VITA Coordinator and volunteers to ensure VITA outcomes are achieved, and there is satisfaction with services
- Assist in developing appropriate VITA volunteer recognition
- Collaborate closely with Norwescap team members about VITA
- Ensure that all VITA sites are equipped, and technology is continually working
- Assist in implementing VITA appointment scheduling processes to ensure an efficient scheduling system, if necessary
- Support VITA volunteers and prepare taxes at VITA Sites during tax season
- Field Community Inquiries that pertain to tax preparation and tax law
- Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice
- High school diploma preferred
- Some experience in tax preparation preferred
