Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, including opening, closing, arranging stock, taking deliveries, and managing customer sales. Must be able to lift twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance.
- Manage deposits and monitor sales revenue and store budget
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, sorting, pricing, and displaying merchandise
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers
- Develop creative sales strategies, manage promotions, and plan community events
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, donors, and partners
- In conjunction with Marketing Department, develop and implement social media strategies to increase store visibility, engage with the community, and promote events and sales.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in retail management required, preferably in a thrift store or similar environment
- Experience in point of sale systems preferred
- Must have access to personal, independent transportation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
