Responsibilities And Duties
- Complete health, dental, mental health, and nutrition screenings within the required timeline.
- Maintain positive relationships with parents and support parents as they complete the required. immunizations and other medical and dental follow-up procedures for their children.
- Maintain first aid and pediatric CPR certification and provide first aid when necessary.
- Promote health and safety practices within the program by implementing and monitoring health and hygiene practices in classrooms and the center
- High school diploma or GED, working towards a health credential, or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), to be completed within two years of hire (required)
- Associate's degree, LPN, RPN (preferred)
- Experience working with young children (required)
- Experience in the health and nutrition field
- 2 years experience with children and families(preferred)
- 2 years experience with health and nutrition (preferred)
