What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager position at NORWALK LIQUOR STORE LLC?
Responsible for all aspects of day to day store operations to include: Customer service, employee relations and retention, inventory control and purchasing of certain items, cash accountability, safety and store security, shrink awareness and loss prevention, accurate pricing with store signage
Assist all customers while on retail sales floor maintaining our customer first policy
Meet sales goals by mentoring, motivating, training and providing feedback to your associates
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers
Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
Propose innovative ideas to increase sales and market share
Conduct personnel performance reviews to asses training needs and build career opportunities
Support and implement programs, plans and procedures as developed by the corporate office
Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned by corporate
Qualifications:
Extremely organized and detail orientated, high energy and able to prioritize
3 plus years experience including managing a team in a retail establishment. Liquor store experience a plus
Ability to manage and lead a team of 5 or more people
Ability to work in a ever-changing, fast pace environment
Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Availability to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Ability to work 40-50 hours per week
Must be 21
