Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a volunteer*, remote, role responsible for expanding the festival’s partnerships, sponsorships, and audience reach. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and researching potential sponsors, donors, and community partners, and developing outreach strategies to engage them.
This role involves preparing proposals and communication materials that clearly convey the festival’s mission and value to prospective sponsors. The specialist will maintain relationships with partners, track outreach activities, and collaborate with the festival team to align business development efforts.
*This is a volunteer position but the board is open to discussing commission-based compensation.
Qualifications
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills for engaging sponsors, donors, and community partners in the Fairfield County area.
