Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a Lawyer to join its Projects Development team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 10 years of relevant experience and a strong background in construction, procurement, and project development, with location flexibility across all of our US offices.
The ideal candidate will have a background in project development within the power, energy, oil & gas, or chemical sectors, or extensive construction experience, particularly with large-scale infrastructure projects. Experience should include negotiating engineering, procurement, and construction agreements, equipment procurement agreements (such as PV or BESS or turbine procurement), operations and maintenance agreements, long term services agreements, and other development agreements. This role provides an opportunity to work on high-profile projects in renewable energy, energy storage, power generation, and other energy transition technologies and will sit on our market-leading Projects team.
Key Requirements:
- 4 to 10 years’ of experience as a projects development lawyer
- Experience with renewable energy projects preferred
- Strong academic credentials

The full time base annual salary for this position in the New York City, Denver, Los Angeles, and San Francisco market is expected to range between $300,000- $420,000. This range represents the firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting for a position in New York City, Denver, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Salaries in other markets will vary depending on market data. Bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
