About the position:
- Join an adult-service practice currently consisting of four cardiac surgeons, six advanced practice providers and several support staff.
- Focus primarily on adult cardiac surgery responsibilities, including valve replacement, coronary artery bypass graft, aortic procedures including complex aneurysms, and dissections and structural heart procedures.
- Competitive compensation model includes bonus options based on quality or key performance indicators.
- Participate in a transcatheter valve program certified by the American College of Cardiology, and an established Structural Heart Program.
- Ideal candidate will have training in minimally invasive surgery (MIS).
The physician is responsible for recording a detailed medical history of each patient in the electronic medical record, including, but not limited to, chief complaint, present condition, individual history, and family history. Performing appropriate physical examination of each patient. Analyzing reports and/or findings of tests and personal examinations in order to assess the medical condition of the patient, including diagnosing the patient's injury or illness and formulating a prognosis.

Required:
- Doctorate Degree
- One of: DO or MD
