Responsibilities
The role of the Registration Representative is to exemplify excellent customer service skills by greeting and interviewing patients or their representative, to obtain all necessary information and signatures required for treatment. The Registration Representative will prepare and distribute all required patient informational material while maintaining HIPPA guidelines. The incumbent will also direct and/or escort patients to the appropriate department or floor.
Norton Healthcare is committed to establishing health equity in every neighborhood, and Norton West Louisville Hospital is an example of that commitment put into action. Opened in November of 2024, this state-of-the-art facility is being built at 850 South 28th Street and will offer comprehensive services, including a 24-hour emergency department, inpatient care, operating rooms and imaging technology. It will serve both adults and children. It’s designed with the voice of the community in mind and will change health care for generations to come.
