Responsibilities
The Coordinator, Youth Philanthropy Programs & Events plans, implements and evaluates fundraising projects and events for the Children’s Hospital Foundation and Norton Healthcare Foundation with a special emphasis on youth philanthropy programs. The Coord, Youth Philanthropy Programs & Events coordinates volunteer committees, arranges and executes event details, corresponds with youth philanthropy partners on all levels (volunteers, sponsors, programs and vendors); coordinates with marketing on event collateral and advertising and processing/acknowledging event registrations, pledges and payments. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and interacts with multiple audiences, including current and prospective donors, board members, corporate contacts and all levels of hospital staff. This position requires multi-tasking, the ability to manage projects, reliable transportation and flexible hours, including evening and weekend work.
