Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities: The APP Surgical provides healthcare to patients with an emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance and supportive care. The APP works independently, as well as collaboratively, to diagnose, prescribe treatment, manage and evaluate patient care and under the direct supervision of the surgeon is in the operating room 50% or more of the time. The APP functions as an educator, healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant and patient advocate. This individual makes patient rounds in the hospitals and may be required to take call.

Qualifications

Required:

Three years as an RN
Master Degree
National Nurse Practitioner AND Nurse Practitioner AND Registered Nurse

Desired:

None.
Certified Surgical First Assistant OR Surgical Assistant Certified
